ARTHUR M. YOUNGArthur M. Young, inventor of the Bell helicopter, graduated in mathematics from Princeton University in 1927. His 1930's private research on the helicopter led to patents later assigned to Bell Aircraft who he worked with to develop his invention. In 1973 he and Ruth Forbes Young co-founded the Institute for the Study of Consciousness in Berkeley, California, dedicated to the integration of scientific thought and research into the nature of consciousness. He developed a generalized 'theory of process' which applies in detail equally to physical structures, molecular structures, biological taxonomy, psychology, astrology, mythology and spiritual disciplines. Arthur shares insights on parallels between various dimensional quantities of physics and their astrological and psychological counterparts.
April Fools on Good Friday A late evening visit with Arthur Young at his home allowed a lively chat which included a simplification of The Theory in order to explain the ideas to a visiting artist.
Architectural and Philosophical Applications for the Reflexive Universe and The Theory of Process An informative conversation between Martha Senger, head of the Goodman Building Project centering on live/work space for artists and innovators in San Francisco, and Arthur Young. A generous and responsive expression from Arthur provides clarification on many subjects related to his work with geometry, meaning, architecture, science and philosophy in general.

Arthur Young Day at the Philosophical Research Society Obadiah Harris Ph.D., President of the Philosophical Research Society, founded by Manley P. Hall, opened a full day of appreciating the work of Arthur Young, through the interpretations and applications of Jeffrey Mishlove Ph.D., Saul-Paul Sirag, Bob Whitehouse Ph.D., Roger Callahan, Ph.D. and Foster Gamble. Ruth Forbes Young addressed the gathering and participated in the days activities. Remembering Arthur Young(1905-1995) was presented by Harris, Mishlove, Sirag, Young and video of Arthurs Reflexive Universe. The afternoon workshops were organized around Whitehouse: A Psychology of the Heart, Callahan: Transcending Phobia, anxiety and Addiction, and Gamble: Peak Performance Training—Mind-Body energy transformation and conflict resolution. The location of The Philosophical Research Society is 3910 Los Feliz Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90027 (213)663-2167.

Friends of Arthur Share Memories of Arthur Young The memorial afternoon in Berkeley for Arthur M. Young was a beautiful event with many dignitaries speaking about their affection and appreciation for Arthurs work and life. Those who are interested by the intellectual salon society that surrounded the Youngs and his general fans will want to include this uplifting experience in their collection.
Fun with Astrology "Fun with Astrology" fits into many categories. There are many chalkboard drawings and therefore the video might be more helpful than the audio. An Astrologer or Arthur fan can get a lot out of the audio tape as well.

Introducing Arthur S. Eddington In an appendix to Arthur Young's Reflexive Universe is a challenging section from Eddington's Fundamental Theory--the book no one claims to understand entirely, least of all Joan Schleicher! However, in her attempt to do so, she discovered some intriguing facts about the life and work of Eddington. He was a truly remarkable man whose efforts to unite his research as a scientist and his spiritual awareness are unsurpassed. Joan Schleicher, a founding board member of the Institute, discussed ideas about why Eddington has been ignored by current theoretical physics and why his work is a forerunner to Young's theory of process. Arthur Young dialogued with Joan and created an informative and enthusiastic response in all the participants. A great show in the fun of physics.
Introduction to The Reflexive Universe This is an informal biographical dialogue allowing the listener to follow Arthur Young's personal, educational and philosophical path from the early days dealing with science and invention to his current interest in presenting The Reflexive Universe and the Theory of Process.
Mathematics, Physics & Reality Arthur M. Young, inventor of the Bell helicopter, graduated in mathematics from Princeton University in 1927. In the thirties he engaged in private research on the helicopter, and in 1941 he assigned his patents to Bell Aircraft and worked with this firm to develop his invention. In 1973 he established the Institute for the Study of Consciousness in Berkeley, California, dedicated to the integration of scientific thought and research into the nature of consciousness.

Space Drive Here is a casual, one camera capture, at home in the Institute video, beginning with Arthur stating his disenchantment with Samjasse of the Billy Meier material. To Arthur's dismay, Samjasse could not explain how the Pleidean star ships worked. Arthur continued to explain that he was more interested in how the ships work then actually going anywhere in one. That becomes the launching pad for careful demonstrations, with board work, about how the helicopter was engineered to fly, which continued into a full evening of Arthur teaching his Theory of Process. The viewer is in the front row seat experiencing a typical night of Arthur Young teaching a mixed knowledged crowd his favorite things, patiently, humorously, and tirelessly. Anyone studying Arthur's work should see it. Brian writes: Go Arthur, this tape sums it up! This is sum-where between a trance and a dance or maybe sum-where over the rainbow. Living on the Spaceship Earth we are all hardwired to have this drive on sum level where two + two equals fourness.
The Appeal of Astrology Faustin interviews. Why do perfectly scientific minds turn to astrology?
The Brain Scale of Dr. Brunler In the Brain Scale of Dr. Brunler, Arthur M. Young examines the attempt of Oscar Brunler to measure and assess brain radiation. Considered by many as a possible means of ascertaining the evolution—or age—of the soul, brain radiation has fascinated countless women and men and is currently the subject of serious research throughout the world. Acknowledging obvious doubt of Brunlers use of pendulum, Young deftly points out the importance of Brunlers ideas and efforts.
The Cloud of Unknowing
The Delights of Astrology The second tape is short, hence the reduced price...if you want to know why Arthur is so enchanted with astrology, this presents a good perspective on the question.

The Gee Whiz Years The search that took the inventor of the Bell helicopter and the founder of the Peace Academy on an international adventure that culminated in the beginning of the Institute for the Study of Consciousness.
The Geometry of Meaning Ruth Young introduces The Geometry of Meaning. Arthur explains how the four functions of Jung, the four directions, the four phases of the learning cycle, the four derivatives and other measure formulae of science all fit into a totality which was recognized by ancient thought in the signs of the zodiac; he shows how geometry can be the basis for a science of meaning.
THE GRID: Fundamentals of Arthur Youngs Theory Of Process HUMMUX, PhD physicist, is a long time student and teacher of Arthur Youngs Theories.
